Meet the Executives!

Co-Presidents

Cristina + Ava

The Co-Presidents oversee all SASSS operations and serve as the primary representatives of the association. They chair executive meetings, coordinate between all VP portfolios, liaise with faculty and university administration, and set the strategic direction for the year. They also represent SSS students at ASUS Council and other inter-faculty forums.

VP Events

Bella-Mai + Elise

The VP Events team plans and executes all SASSS social and academic events throughout the year. This includes organizing study sessions, career panels, networking nights, and community-building activities. They manage event logistics, coordinate with venues, and work closely with VP Communications to promote events to the SSS student body.

VP Communications

Anik + Adele + Syona

The VP Communications team manages all SASSS outreach and branding efforts. They run the association’s social media accounts, create promotional content, design graphics, and maintain the website. They ensure students stay informed about events, opportunities, and important announcements while building a strong and recognizable SASSS presence on campus.

VP Finance

The VP Finance manages the association’s budget, tracks all income and expenditures, and ensures responsible use of student fees. They prepare financial reports, process reimbursements, coordinate funding applications, and work with ASUS on budget allocation. They also oversee merchandise sales and ensure financial transparency for the association.

VP Academic

The VP Academic advocates for students’ academic interests and serves as a liaison with the SSS program administration. They organize academic support initiatives like study groups and tutoring, share resources for degree planning, and help students navigate program requirements. They also gather student feedback on courses and curriculum to communicate with faculty.

Lower Year Rep

Capucine

The Lower Year Representative is the voice of U0 and U1 students on the executive team. They bring the perspectives and concerns of newer students to executive discussions, help first-years navigate the SSS program, and work to make SASSS events and resources accessible and welcoming to students who are just beginning their sustainability studies journey.
